Loads of tinted visors and noisey exhausts at ponderosa, I read bike groups were getting chats rather than abuse this year. One group was on the a5 the other was on the bunkhouse road.

Bunkhouse is booked, please add yourself to the accommodation thread if you are coming. Note I need paying up front for this based on previous experience.

We'll continue to use this thread for discussion and banter.

I've booked the Friday off, do you know what time it is ok to check-in from on the friday.

They are pretty laid back there, so I'd imagine (but don't know) that any time after 3pm would be fine, but they will need time to get the place straight if they have been full the week before.

It would be best to call / email Kate at the bunkhouse, they sometimes have school groups that require exclusive use of the place to stop 'unchecked adults' 'interfacing' with the children

G, we'll be travelling over on the Friday, and traditionally, there has always been a rideout to the bunkhouse, so you might want to consider that

Cheers LP, for organising that and getting the rooms sorted. Just need to get the bonfire organised now!

I thought there might be I'll wait and see what people suggest nearer the time.

Direct route for me is across the Peak district along the A54 to congleton etc which is an amazing road, will still take over 3 hours. I am up for anything though.

Aren't you Nottingham area G?

Yeah, just north of Nottingham. Plenty of places to meet and head across.

For a really decent blaze you need petrol, not diesel. I'm sure there'll be some crummy old Honda lying around somewhere!
