Can always stop at Ducati Glasgow and get some more on the way back I guess.[/QUOTE]

You know where they are, Pete? After the find-some-brake-pads problem last year?

Oh well, you know what the consumption is like then Matt, so a litre is possibly a bit of an overkill. I put my oil in 250ml Lucozade bottles. Easier to pack and can discard them as they get used. Also the 996 uses 15/50 FS, which isn't easy to come by.

Bet Claire thinks she'll be carrying a different type of litre bottle

Gave up trying to find them in the end David and rode home on metal to metal. We'll have a map with us this time

I may even try and get most of the way up on the Friday, if we're late in. Even if I come up on the Saturday I'm aiming to meet up for some, if not all of the ride.

Besides, Cumfy has promised a wee glass, or eleventeen.

seconded Andy..

last year we had an ace run up real nice day and good ride but it took us 10 hours as we picked diff folks up on the way and took the twisties.. arrived quite late- after 8pm I think.. everyone else was fed and watered and having a beer etc etc.. we got in showered and bed .. lost a "night" and was tired for the next day ..

this year its a 5 hour nice ride with stops and hope get there at about 4pm to chill out and relax...

Paul.. there is a road that runs parallel with the motorway- the orig road b4 motorway was built.. . Mattsv knows it..pm him
