Oh by the way. I think you will find only logs provided by the campsite are allowed to be used. So if you are bringing your own supply, it may be wise to keep them out of site until you are actually burning them. Enjoy it guys.

It's F'in raining here, and my tent is wet already and I haven't put the bloody thing up yet. According to BBC, the camp site might actually miss the worst of the rain until Saturday night. My tent has a reasonably large porch area that people can cook / sit in if the weather is poo.

Metcheck shows the campsite as dry this evening and tomorrow, but it will be raining around the Windsor areas this afternoon.

Any idea when the Oxford lot will pass the Shire?

about 4:45 - 5pm I reckon as Nick didn't know what time he'd be leaving work. I'm fuelled up and ready to go, but just need to grab some sausages etc for the BBQ, I'm not sure how much shopping Nick needs to do. We are meant to be meeting at 4.

Good researching Sam. As Phill said, we are trying to meet in oxford for 4, but I need some fuel and meat. Then it takes 33 mins to get to the Shire, so expect us there between 4:30 and 5 I hope. The latest metcheck says for the weather is that its actually going to be dry all weekend, just raining now a bit! Weather forecasting is less certain that alchemy, so lets just ignore that and have fun.

Thanks for the news on the logs Si, so long as Sarah hides them in the car we can sneak them out, not like anyone will check so long as we buy some from the camp site too. I am really up for this! Wish Si was going
