If you don't want to buy any just yet, you can try mine - if you fit them yourself.
Only just scrubbed - 1000 miles to N.Wales & Hartside.

Sides are 3.8 on the right, 4 on the left, but then most of my cornering isn't done by weight transfer and is fairly smooth by necessity* , performance wise they are as good as the previous storms, which is to say all I need, wet weather they handle almost as if it's dry, and the dry the feedback allows you to use whatever you want with confidence, before they are done I hope to have them out on a track and will let you know how that goes, but short of this they'll equal or better most anything else in the real world, or to be more accurate the rider will make far more difference than the tyres will in most cases.
* the knee thing. Cheers Mark.

South Hampshire prices:
After contacting a few places , I have a quote for £185 from http://www.tyres-r-us.co.uk (Eastleigh). That's ride in, ride out fitted, 120/60 and 160/60 ZR17. Alan Lear in Winchester will do the same for £190. I found the online retailer Bikers World to be a similar price (£17 ![]() http://www.bikersworldstore.co.uk/av..._store=default Unless anyone pings me with anywhere cheaper in South Hants, I'll probably get a pair of these next week from Eastleigh. I'm all about ride in, ride out as I don't have the gear to take wheels off. My Metzeler Z6s have lasted OK, but the front's squared off in three different strips it seems - a flat strip along the centre, and one each either side, with a clear transition from one flat bit to another. Which doesn't feel great, as you can imagine! My rear has squared off a little less but it is much newer. I wanted to switch to Avon Storm Ultras following reviews and opinions of you good good people!

Get a quote from Russ at Russ's Tyres in Portsmouth
I paid £205 ride in/out (180/120), however the service from Russ is great. I had something weird happen with the new Ultra rear after 100 miles (looked like a couple of lumps out of it) and he just changed it straight away for a new one. Then you can scrub them in on the way home via A32/A272 ![]()

just bought a 160/60 for the rear from ebay- £104 inc postage. previous storm was squaring off nicely at 4.5k. i had a puncture in it last saturday with probably 1000 miles left in it. the aa guy [mike the bike] who fixed puncture has just joined sv.org and is considering his sv purchase. small world isn,t it. bikers in north baddesley fit and balance for a tenner.
