As for it's the police's fault, all I need to know is that when the BBC first heard he shot himself they were critical demanding to know why the police didn't taser him to prevent the tragedy.
IF he had spotted the officers creeping up on him and shot them, it would be outrage.
Then as soon as they found out he was tasered 2 or 3 times, WHY DID THE POLICE TASER HIM!
*sigh*, damned if you do, and you know the rest.
I wouldn't be supprised if they had even got him down peacefully peolpe would still criticise.

Raoul had been arrested 12 times, the courts decided he should only go up for 7 of those, he "got off" on all but 1 of those, abusing a child, for which he got a few weeks...and on getting out that very same day goes on his shooting spree.
If his last letters are to be belived he purposly didn't aim to kill her and just wanted to get her a nice insurance pay out.... but the truth of that will never be know.

On the flip side, do realise that his Girlfriend broke up with him the day he was getting out by text and because she was scared told him she was now dating a Police officer despite knowing his opion about police.
Her new Boyfriend then stayed with her, admirable, but then spent the evening trading insults out a window with him...
Police weren't called until the first shots were fired and he was already dead.

The police DID screw up when they then sent a single un-armed officer out to look for him....
As for "They should of known by his threats".
Sorry but they get 1000's of people like this making threats everyday, hind sight is wonderful but you can't take them all seriously enough to prevent every nutter with a gun.

Maybe this guy was a nice guy before the drug abuse, but when a crack head came upto me in watford threatening to stab me and my girlfriend with an HIV infected needle if we didn't give him our money I couldn't care less if the F***er was a saint before his drug abuse and I had no thoughts about hugging him and getting him help, I wanted the F***er dead, luckily for us despite being pointedly ignored by both a CSO and 2 door bouncers near by who didn't seem to want to get involved he didn't follow up when we simple walked away and decided to harass someone else instead...

Likewise this guy shot and killed, was armed, and was dangerous, I don't give a crap if he was a saint before hand he was dangerous and the police still risked their lives to try and talk him down.
The police spent hours trying to talk him down, I was sat there watching most of it on the news and it went on all bloody night, officers risked their LIVES to get close to that man when negotiations were failing to try and taser him to take him down peacefully, what more do you WANT?

If they kept talking and he shot himself or shot at and wounded someone, people would be outraged they let it go on so long without tasering him.
They Tasered him and people are outraged they tasered him....
And all this stupid, idiotic lambasting the police for doing their job just makes this idiots glamour all the more appealing to idiots that want to be like him!
