I can still run the bike up but its actions under load and of course boost that are of concern and this, as I have no fairing or tank on my bike, means I can not take the bike onto the road to place it under test conditions. Thus this is where the dilema lies and as I wont have the fairing returned until next week i am somewhat at a loss and now considering what else I can do to it in the mean time, ideas are welcome!!!!

Default Re: GSXR fairing fitted to Curvy EDIT: now plus a turbo!!

Spit and polish everything, degrease and lube it all back up again.

Fabricate a side number plate holder with integrated brake light and number plate light.

Giver her a service - oh er missus !!

As you've got the turbo nearly sorted have you considered braking might need up rating ?

+20million for brakes!! The curvy brakes aren't exactly the best in the world. Braided lines and HH pads and some other goochy stuffs and things that make brakes gooderer. Or steal some Brembos that will fit.

I have the braided lines already but dont want to spend a fortune tbh, what are the usual upgrades? I was considering Bussa brakes up front pending on the machine work required

I have no clue. I'm just saying if you make it faster, you need to be able to stop.

Oh no I agree totally, usually its brakes and suspension first 'then' performance. This time I'm a little topsey turvy but building a street fighter then fitting the fairing then the ass raise then the turbo, things kind've snowballed into an 'ah while I am here i may as well.....' situation lol!!!
