rwood, i've never done it either. Will be taking my first few runs very gently and getting a little practice in before i start launching hard...... Decide on the day, bring your license anyway

Think i've got an RGV250 joining me for the ride up, don't know who it is, but he asked me on another forum

I#ll be on a black curvy SV650, no lower fairing and a load of scratches on one side of the top fairing. Tinted doube bubble and rear hugger. Std exhaust.

Yeah I might bring the paper half of my licence with me too, your can't miss me, Red K5S, right fairing scratched after my off last year, and crash bungs slightly scratched from the off last year.

Will likely have a Givi box on the back (will see if I can find my digital camera and Cam corder as well). Oh and look on the right handle bar, your see a mounting for a Tom Tom Rider, your know you might have found me than.

Other than that lets keep our fingers crossed for good weather!

if you live so near can you keep us informed on the weather situation
I have a 150 mile ride so dont want to set off if its raining at the pod.
The latest BBC forecast gives rain all over the country but isn't specific about times
i have checked the pod website and there is another RWYB on sunday 21st May.
could be we could just delay a week if it all goes wrong.

I won't be online all weekend from about 10 minutes time, so i'll apologise in advance if im not there (rain is the only thing that will stop me, or a puncture, etc ..........)

Im very much hoping still to get up there though.

Just a quick one, just got home and Wellingborough has been rained on hard. It's just light drizzle at the moment, so I will give you another report early in the morning.

Its been a lovely evening here - just watched the weather and it says it will be cloudy - lets hope you have had all the rain already!

Its very grey at the moment but the weather for the pod says cloudy so i will be setting off in 10 minutes and risking it.
