We have the 50 over final. Saturday is the match, Sunday tyre reserve day in case if rain, so I have to keep both days free.

Tiptree strawberries, on sale in Waitrose, yummy, no wonder the jam tastes so good. The local plums, apples and figs are also delicious right now. I've made a crumble. And if you haven't tried wasabi almonds then you must, but be warned, they are totally addictive, I have to get someone to hide them from me once I'm half way through a bag.

Having a pint in the middle of the afternoon with lovely Lady Poppy after exploring a fascinating cathedral on our short break. Plus the munchkin has not called to be picked up again after her first night away at Sussex uni.

Default Smile of the day - What is yours?

Realising it's Friday evening, dinners on, and there's time to fetch beer before the rugby starts.
