Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Fingers crossed for you Craig.
And I hope your teeth settle down for you John. I had a couple of my older NHS amalgam fillings replaced a couple of years ago and the new porcelain (?) material felt so wrong for weeks.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Puncture. Grrr. The last sunny dry day of November so I thought I'd take the bike for a last ride of 2023. Only got 5 miles down the road and the bikes handling was getting gradually worse so pulled in to a garage. Definitely a flat rear. Couldn't see any obvious cause so pumped up with tyre weld. I got home okay but it's not holding air. It maybe a thorn as I pulled one out last month and maybe there is another.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Just tried to remove the rear wheel. None of my sockets fit. I need to go and buy a 26mm.
Reading the owners manual, there is nothing in it about removing wheels. There's no tools in the tool kit either. In fact there's nothing about any kind of servicing. Quite a contrast to the VFR manual that covered basic servicing such as oil changes and tyres. Clearly anything other than changing a fuse is a dealer job. Much the same as the car world has gone. You can do a lot of damage with an Allen key, ask IKEA.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
the Gen 3 SV toolkit is pathetic compared to the Gen 2. No plug spanner, no tank prop, no spanner for the 27mm rear wheel nut, no 10mm Allen for the front axle. Luckily I had half the above from my K6 pointy (RIP).
