Pushed myself out the door for a 4.4 mile run this morning. Hard going, especially running into the wind, but enjoyable anyway.

The hardest part of a run is getting out the door!

Another sunny morning run, but it was a seriously muddy 4½ miles! Took nearly as long to clean off Mabel and me as it did to run it!

Probably more like 7 miles too with all the sliping backwards.

Well done for getting out there in current conditions. I've dropped off a bit. Got out twice this week and really felt the effect a few weeks of only one short run a week has had. The two this week were hard. I felt every step. Hopefully get some flow back if I up my efforts and motivation though. Better weather will be here soon and hopefully the trails will get a chance to dry up.

The two I did this week felt ok although yesterday was hard work with the mud. Got another one with a friend and the dogs on Sunday morning too.

I was back in from my run yesterday morning long enough to get showered, changed, and have a late breakfast, then I was back out the door for a 7 mile walk in the hills with my neighbour and the hounds. Legs are feeling a lot better than i thought they would this morning!

Very enjoyable 5.97 mile morning run from Mitchell's Fold to Bromlow Callow, in the Marches, with a friend, Karen, and her husky Max. Pretty chilly at the start but we warmed up once we got moving. Very muddy/boggy in places so a slow run overall. Fabulous views from up there though.

Rounded the day off with a 4.7 mile walk in the hills around here this afternoon. Mabel is now flat out, having scoffed her dinner.

Did an 8 mile walk in the hills around here with my neighbour and our hounds this morning, then a very enjoyable 5.5 mile run with Mabel, and a friend and her two collies late this afternoon.

Lovely, sunny 8.8 mile run at the Elan Valley today with Mabel, and a friend with her two dogs. Longest run I've done for a while, but great fun and stunning views.

The wind was pretty cold in places though.

Out for an early run of 6.2 miles around a local route.

The first mile was really hard going mentally and I didn't enjoy it at all, but after that I seemed to find my pace a bit better and settled into the run ok.

Glad I got out and did it though. Time for breakfast now!
