Re: The All new Reeder Megathread
Oh shiiiit! Bet that was scary!!
Well cracked ribs aren't major but really annoying when you laugh. Hopefully the bike isn't too bad. At least you are mostly ok. Major downer so close to your birthday though. You must have joined the No Luck club like me |

Glad you got out of it without major damage - could have been proper nasty, south of the border the deer don't have so many 'rights to roam' and hopefully keep away from roads pretty much (and they are probably smaller), I have seen them by where I live very early in the day (about 6am) but not otherwise. Most we get are pheasants, grey squiggles (which often run around in ever diminishing circles in the road when they see a car or bike approaching - 'decisions, decisions, which way to run), wood pigeons and rabbits (and common land grazing sheep in some areas, which keep off the road unless they get spooked). Kangaroos were a nuisance to car drivers but a real menace to bikers in Aussie, the further west you went the bigger they got and they are known for being good jumpers and would literally appear from nowhere into the middle of the road (normally early and late in the day).
