Notes: obviously the Gladius and the L7 share the same swinging arm because the hugger mounting holes lined up with the arm. I will qualify that by saying that they aligned 99% - I find with most mass produced plastic items that they are "close" but require a little bit of pressure to make them fit properly. I don't like doing that because it means they'll probably fracture later (out comes the file).

Here's another gripe - if you're selling a black hugger then surely the mounting bolts should be black too?

On the plus side (for me), the hugger extends around the tyre until it's in line with the rear axle so this should keep the bike cleaner.

Aesthetics: the exhaust side looks ok, the chain side - jury still out - there seems to be an awful lot of shiny black plastic (the hugger and the chain guard are integrated) and, since it's snowing here on the east coast, I haven't been able to get the bike out to fully eyeball it.

Finally, at £80 it's one of the cheapest huggers on the market. I previously had the Pyramid hugger which was too small (and fragile) and it cost over £50.
Glad it fits my Ermax one should be here this weekend will let you know how it fits post some pics and I will post some when it's fitted.

Just fitted a Ermax hugger on my AL7 holes matched up spot on, and used the plastic washers on all the bolts they sent, 4 bolts 3 Large heads and 1 smaller one for the rear brake carrier. The worst part was cutting the plastic the piece in front of the ABS unit 60mm to stop it hitting the hugger on swing arm movement.
Seems a lot easier for cleaning ect, happy with it only time will tell

Lots of sanding and fillering- undenting a spare tank, and removing the caliper mounts from the left leg of a GSXR fork. Both projects I started in about 2009!

Just fitted new cam chain tensioners to the VFR. Fiddly. Removed right hand heat shield and took it to be plastic coated. I'm fed up constantly repainting it.

Ordered a new fork stanchion for the VFR. Current one is pitted and keeps ripping seals.

Time to check the plugs today, after 16,000 miles.
Not looking forward to the front plug behind the radiator or the rear one that faces into the frame on the LHS.

I used to look for a lady with small hands. Different reason, but spark plugs is more useful.

Success. All four plugs checked and put back in with knuckles intact. First time in 20 years.
