First run out for a while. 4.7 miles of tarmac and trail with Mabel and one of my daughters, Eleri.

First run for a while, 4.45 miles of hills, fields, trails and back lanes. Thought I was going to get a soaking but I got away with a bit of drizzle and loads of nettle stings!

It's now raining properly so I'm glad I got the run in early.

Early morning run around my local 4.5 mile loop while it's still cool enough for Mabel. Lots of nettle stings where some of the paths are getting a bit overgrown!

Who else is still running? I can see a couple of you on Strava; anyone else?

Yesterday morning run/jog/walk of 5 miles with Mabel and a friend with her canine crew. It was warm even by 8am so we didn't attempt to run the whole way as it would have been too much for the hounds.

Then today, just over 7 miles of trails, fields, and lanes with Mabel and daughter Eleri this morning. We kept it slow and steady as it got quite warm and humid on the way round.

I have a couple of 2nd hand Mio Classic heart rate monitor watches that I picked up from ebay - basic but ok for me.

The Garmin 735xt I got to replace the one that didn't work, works a treat, and a bit of a bargain at the price. My daughter, Eleri has just managed to get hold of a vgc Garmin 935 for £90. This is a triathlon watch that sells new for around £400.

An early morning 6 mile run with Eleri from Mitchell's Foldto Bromlow Callow and back. Made it back just as the rain started.

Lost a mile of it when the Garmin didn't resume after a stop.
