Very warm, humid, and sweaty 4.5 miles early morning run with Mabel.

She's now flaked out on the carpet, I'm tempted to do the same on the settee!

Out for a short, early morning run with Mabel this morning. Very humid even at 7.30am, so 2.5 miles of sweaty running.
Garmin has recorded time and distance etc correctly but missed out half the route.

Mabel has now had her breakfast and retired back to bed!

Early morning run/sweatfest of 4.5 miles this morning. Incredibly humid even at 7am.

Now for a pot of tea and breakfast!

My rib seems to be more or less healed now so I got out reasonably early for a short run with Mabel before the day gets too warm.

I need to start getting back out there again a little more regularly now.

Who else is still running?

My running (or anything involving breathing) has gone out the window. Got very ill about a cople of months ago with full Covid symptoms. Tested negative all the way through. Nearly recovered enough for one small run a couple of weeks back and then got ill again.. this time testing very positive for over a week. Starting to recover and just got a negative result yesterday thankfully, but tried to cycle for ten minutes and lungs are burning and feeling exhausted. Hoping to bounce back and be able to run again soon. Missing it!

That sounds pretty grim Adam. I think I'd be inclined to ease back into running and cycling very gently to avoid any respiratory damage. Maybe start with a few good length walks, and gradually pick up the pace on them first?
