Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Getting up early on holiday and going to the farmers market to buy local cheese, meat, bread, apple juice and chocolate. Then a long walk through ancient woodland to a pub with a beer festival, where I drank tea, but Mr LPH was happy.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
A SUZUKI SV650S!
Out on the bike this afternoon the for the 120 mile round trip to my fave biker pub/pizza restaurant. They really do have the best pizza I've tried anywhere in the world. Drizzling rain on the southern most (and furthest point) of the trip. Not bad quite bad enough to stop and put on the waterproofs, but just enough to keep me constantly wiping my visor. Fortunately the best roads were all dry and after a spirited ride home, any few minutes of drizzle had been long forgiven or maybe even remebered fondly. Sometimes it's good to be out the bike despite any weather.

More "building stuff" arriving for the extension. I get happy and excited when each little stage is arrived at. Today's smile is we now have a lintel for over our garage door (plus lots more bricks/sand/cement/etc)

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Managing to avoid seeing the result of the Great British Bake Off until I could watch it on iplayer this morning, even though that meant sticking my fingers in my ears and going 'lalalala' during the radio news last night. And Nadiya won, she was my favourite, her bakes were good but her facial expressions were the best. Every time they were judging her she looked like she was being chased by a grizzly bear. I'm off to buy duck eggs now to bake with over the weekend.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Getting a letter reminding me my fixed electricity deal comes to an end in November. I just used -U-Switch to get a new deal and saved £175 a year!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I used that service last year, switched to the one recommended. Ended up £400 more expensive so I've just switched again.
