My parents were down for the weekend and they're now driving through the rain back to Norfolk. We spent a pleasant few hours in Henley-upon-Thames yesterday and while we were sat on the riverside munching an ice cream the local wildlife got curious and close. This male swan (his other half and two cygnets were also wandering about) came right up to us in an almost threatening "give me your ice cream" sort of way. We stood our ground but some of the small kids in the family group beside us were understandably a bit wary of him.
 I want some ice cream by Trevor Laight, on FlickrI don't know why but in my head the two ducks in the foreground are discussing last night's Coronation Street. I really should get out more.  It won't bite you by Trevor Laight, on Flickr
