Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
The local police seeing you training someone for DAS Mod1 on private land, and assuming you're doing something illegal, despite having permission, the area being a DSA approved site, and there being a qualified instructor present.
Took nearly 90 mins to sort out, because they were adamant we were breaking the law in "some way". Took finding a traffic officer to educate them. Fun...not. |

Ah you should look like you're thieving something.
They'd left you alone then.

Waking up to the alarm when I was deep in sleep & I didn't need to get up because my wife was already up.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Oh it should!
I was tolerant, they are doing a difficult job after all. Made it clear that it was an approved training area, instructor was present, that it was private land used only for that purpose. I think they were new to the area, and also not very familiar with the law as it translates to motorcycle training. Once the traffic officer explained things to them, all was good. |

Sounds like the idiots that threatened to seize my nephews bike.
Idiots couldn't get it into their head that he was on private property, and they were the ones trespassing.

Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Like the guy who has just thrown his toys out the pram at me for not telling him about the gas meter exchange this morning? It was in a completely different building, run by someone else and the email was pretty f***ing clear in the address about the place 19 miles down the road and on completely the other side of London.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Dropped the bike coming out of a T junction today. Less than walking pace as I moved off the back end just slid away. The road was wet and greasy. Now I need new cheevers and a crash bung. Anybody tell me where is the best place to get the bung?
