Well we don't have cap badges, but that's the only difference.

Self employment mate. What business could you start up yourself, while you're still in the army, then leave when/if it was successful enough? Working for someone else will always mean you have to deal with idiots and sell your time for a set fee, rather than reaping the rewards for every ounce of effort you put in.

Re: GM chit chat thread
Do you have to get your clothes inspected in the morning to make sure you haven't forgotten how to dress yourself, or get your boots so shiny you could shave in 'em, walk like a tart and stamp your feet in your bosses doorway?
If not, sounds good to me! |

From what I've heard that sort of bull**** is excessively worse in the signals. Join the Rifles, none of that crap

Re: GM chit chat thread
Nope, knowing how to dress yourself is the sort of skill that gets you given broadband training, that's advanced stuff.

Re: GM chit chat thread
Never bothered me working for someone else, just the army that fecks me off, don't forget I was 25 when I joined I remember what it's like being a civvy, not got enough spare time to start a business, also I don't think anyone would pay me to take my WD40 and a hammer approach to their vehicles, even though It's cheap, it works and it's safe!
