Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
I'm following AJC's fine example. Filthy bike, nothing packed or even looked out, various gloves and waterproofs leaking like sieves. On the plus side, a nice shiny new front tyre... coupled with advice that my front discs are shagged.
If anyone wants to group up for the trip up the road, let us know (although if the weather is crappy I'm not planning on any long routes) If not... see you at the bar!

Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
Says the man who's bike always looks pristine. No vanity here, only like to clean the bike enough so the luggage and rain with the filth doesn't form a grinding paste against the paintwork. Brakes aren't warped, but after 60k on the original discs, may be a little worn! Tyres are peachy though, just hoping the front on is scrubbed in....

Re: Glencoe Massacre IX - Chat thread
I've checked the tyre pressures AND topped up the Scotoiler, which I think is everything you can do to a motorbike, so I'm super ready.
Alas me and Flix are both working until 7 tomorrow, so it'll be last orders before we swim into the bar. Save us a bag of crisps somebody! |
