Re: 6th June. Buxton Chippy Run 2.
Glad to hear its not too bad Boot, Get well soon mate.
I think that we should complain to the council at Rudyard & get the mountain pass entrance tarmacked. Its not good for people of the shorter persuasion

Re: 6th June. Buxton Chippy Run 2.
Just checked, I did 44 miles with my petrol light flashing since I turned the bike on at J&S. Was getting a bit twitchy on the way into Buxton and ducked out to fuel up. (thanks for covering Mike)
Not bad, a good rideout, good food and good for the planet

Re: 6th June. Buxton Chippy Run 2.
Hi all,
I got the bike back today. A friend of my brothers who has bikes got it in the back of his van. Amazingly it started! The damaged is as originally thought. Karina and my little girl cleaned it when it came back. I'm still feeling shabby, I can't move much but I've got some good pain killers A big thanks to Mr C for organizing it and to Brettus for sticking at the back all day. I had a look through the photo's, some pretty impressive shots. |

Little injury update -
Still in lot of pain. Had a visit to fracture clinic today. Collar bone snapped in two, with a gap of over an inch between the two, and way out of alignment. There's a third piece of bone floating about too. Booked in for op in two weeks to have it repaired with a plate , so I'll be out of action for a while . |

Bloody hell, no wonder you could feel it.
Get well soon mate Got a set of indicators for you by the way and probably other bits for when you get round to mending the bike.
