Scotland is a beatiful place for sure... and the peeps cant be beat either for freindlyness. My only concern is that its a bloody long way to try and cover in a weekend.
Personally i wanna do a trip sometime that will take in Scotland and Ireland, just gotta try and concince the g/f to do it with me cos she aint been to either and she dont know what she's missing.

Re the Eastern counties.

As I said earlier, I can plan a ridout in my own backyard but not anywhere else. If someone wants to organise one over in Norfork that would be grand.

A few years ago (2001 I think) someone sent me a rideout route for the Foxes Diner rideout. When we got there, it turns out that this guy didn't know the area and had just sat down with a map and drew a circular route around the start point of Foxes Diner. Needless to say it was completely crap.

The best approach is to pick a place and get a local to submit his favourite Sunday morning blast. This is what happended last year and we rode Dave Crabtree's favourite route. It was good.

So Sons of Norfolk, volunteer your services and we'll descend apon ye.

Daryl, Ed and myself can do the A44 any time.

John

Wales and the Southeast seem to be the popular votes. So wahts it going to be???

That rings a bell - out of Foxes diner, onto the dual carriageway, and then a random ride around Berkshire (via the A4 & Newbury) - I think about 3 of us made it back to Foxes IIRC

Thought I had some photo's saved somewhere, but can't find them - would be interesting to see how many of us from then are still around - from memory, I recall John (Admin), Kevin, James Holland (JHS) turned up on a 700/750 I think, - any one else?

Got to be Southeastern England/Going across to the Southwest, Somewhere near StoneHedge, never riden across that way before. I like the Norfolk idea as well.
