How desperate are you to have a fire!!! If I have to drive for some reason or other then I will bring my Rectangular B-B-Q with branches and charcoal just for you.

Nice one. One way or the other, I will have a fire to play with!

Very funny. That said I have just bought one of those bucket bbq's. Went to Homebase and it seemed like a steal. Is quite small so my sleeping bag fits snuggly inside. All I need to do now is bring a but load of logs!

That is all.

PS - Bought it in red to match the RR...I'm gonna look the business!

Awsome

I'm thinking that we only need enough for the second half of the evening. We should probably buy a load of charcoal from a local petrol station on Friday night for the actual BBQ and then pile the logs on once we are done!

On the second day we can probably find somewhere that sells them.

The thing is, those disposable BBQs are pants, as fires and as actual cooking tools. Much better to just get a big BBQ. The issue with the campsite is not:
a) they don't want large flames,
but rather
b) they don't want burnt patches of grass

Finding the odd log in a wood is not going to hurt a wood unless you are chopping trees down.

In short, I'd suggest a large BBQ like an oil drum oon legs, so we can all cook serious meat and have a fire in it at the same time. Only problem is transport unless Saeed can come ina car with one

Okay, you bring the oil drum and we'll watch. And laugh. And then call the ambulance.

And then laugh some more.
