I'd unhope - I tried leaving work at half-4 and was still pushed to arrive in time for dinner. You might get away with a half-day though.

Well I finish at 4 on fridays but still cutting it fine I guess? Half day'd p1ss 'em right off. hmm I'll have a think.

Saturday is normally around 180-200 miles, I'll need to dig out the maps of previous rides to be sure though. I think some have been as much as 220.

...And Yay on the massive 200+ ride, Mike. Wasn't the Saturday 246 miles last time round?

Just looked up the map from last rideout and it was 222 miles according to Google. I can't remember if we varied the route on the day to include a new discovery...

On the question of routes, would the 'old stagers' who have been before be upset if I just recycled an old route or do we need a fresh one?

Yeah defo, I am currently thinking the most direct route is also the most enjoyable route which is pretty much notts, across the A54 then the same route we went to ponderosa that time.
