Re: Smile of the day - what is yours?
Getting home in time to take my boy to his swimming lesson (mrs normally takes him).
Great to see how far he's come on. Put a big smile on a proud dads face. |

A colleague of mine had a ruptured disc in his back, he was off sick for nearly 2 months. A couple of epidurals fixed his sciatica, but a program of yoga, core strength exercises and physio has meant he is back to full fitness. He was lucky, as his sister is a physio and was able to give him intensive physio free of charge, which is something not everyone can afford to pay for & the NHS will only give the minimum of treatment.

Going to my youngests school Christmas show.
So many happy faces & beautiful singing, including a 'Away in a manger' sung in French. Puts me in the Christmas spirit

Re: Smile of the day - what is yours?
People on here make me smile. I ask one thing thinking its going to be a struggle. But you guys as always come up trumps...
Thanks very much. It also makes me smile that I've basically finished organising GM2015 (just finishing the tshirt design) and its all set. Just need people to turn up and I can really enjoy it... This time I'm booking the weather through a more reputable source.

It hurt like hell, often made me cry with pain and being told to move to my arm and shoulder was the complete opposite of that what I was told by my hospital in the UK. The big grin factor came when I was able to have treatment every day for a month in Thailand for the same as it cost to have treatment here in the UK for a week. Also my physio over there Usara, was super hot! Sadly back here, treatment is beyond what I can afford, but I am improved over what I was. My plan is to be back on my bike, back on my motorbike and hopefully back in work next year. I am off so many meds that it is unreal and I am super happy about it all. |

Its progress if you've reduced the meds

Mine for the day:
I know I sound like an alcoholic but I'm exploring taste so it is quality over quantity. (But you also need a decent selection too )

Doing a Facebook quiz, and this was the result. I am a WOMAN! But always was a bit of a tomboy.
