Hmmmmmm......so if you came back to your bike and someone had cleaned it so it was all shiny (OK you'll have to use your imagination a bit here), you wouldn't be pi55ed that the result of all your efforts of building up a thick layer of anti-corrosion was now gone?

Nah not really, because there's not really any effort involved

Hi Guys,
I am new on here, but I have had the template drawn up into Autocad so that th co-ordinates can be programmed directly into a auto punch machine used by most sheet metal fabricators. I could upload it if it of any use to anyone? it eliminates the need for a Jigsaw and a steady hand.

Hi Pimmy, Welcome to the forum!
It would be great if you could upload the template for CAD/CAM (Wideboy, some of us do have access ), as I've been contemplating a tail tidy for a while.

Pop into idle banter to say hello
Whereabouts are you from?

Josh

the undertray that was fitted to my bike kinda cracked and snapped a couple of months back, and has been gaffa taped up ever since... but i found lurking around in the back of the garage (amongst the spiders) i had the o.e black plastic beast!

so tonight, i put that into the bath and gave it a thorough good cleaning, and grabbed a sheet of 1mm galvanised steel and cut up my template, and hacked the o.e tray apart too... think i'll get this put together and fitted up on saturday, and i'll paint it sometime in the future

i'll probably use a single LED for the numberplate light
