Sat hear reading through everyone's tributes and memories to find some comfort. Disappointed to see a photo on here and people analysing the crash. Ah well. MCN are publishing a nice front cover. RIP #58.

No marshalls = no racing simple as.
No race marshall is paid more than a meal and a beer a day.
Most marshalls are joe public that love their racing enough to help out

My thoughts to. He would never get the kind of medical assistance he needed at the trackside. His only hope was getting him to hospital ASAP. Personally I think they did what they could. It could also be that they were shocked at his injuries and just didnt know what to do.

I dont think it matters that theres a pic on here, or that the accident is being discussed, no matter what we do or say, it wont bring him back.

We're not his family, we're not his friends, I doubt even if anybody here has even met or spoken to him. I dont think its being disrepectful or that anybody should be disappointed that the forum is being used in that way.

He was a challenging / attacking rider and TBH I also thought he was a bit of a pr1ck, but I used to like to watch him race. He died doing something that he loved and IMHO no better way to go than that.

Even if you didn't like him ( which I did ) he was a character and a breath of fresh air who just went out and raced whoever was in front of him. For me he made Moto GP better to watch and I, like many, had him down as champion in 1 or 2 years time.
I will miss him alot and think Moto GP will be worse without him.

Nice tribute and it shows what a racer he was.
An absolute tragedy.

I agree. At 35s it also contains a scary, almost carbon copy of the accident that ended his life.

To the comments earlier about disapproval towards analysing the accident, I respect your opinion but you must also understand the need for others to understand what happened. It isn't disrespectful, its human nature.
