Fantastic views Darren. In a big country, as someone once sang.

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Weather perfection today. Took a ride up over Glenshee/Braemar and the Lecht towards Tomintoul. When the weather is like this, it's just heaven up in this area. Stunning views, non stop twisty roads. I absolutely love it.

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
Another beauty of a day! Had a run to Rannoch tea room for some lunch.
Fed the friendly chaffinches as I ate It was meltingly hot though, so on the way back I took a dip in the loch to cool down. Very refreshing! Anyone struggling to sleep? The station. There were some American tourists and one of them said "this is it, this is Ra-Nock" Pillon update for Ruffy. It was over a year ago they were starting this. |

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
I swam out to the little castle island (Eilean nam Faoileag) in the middle of Loch Rannoch today. Something I've wanted to do since I was a kid
Picked a good day for it weather wise. The water was so calm. |
