Going anti-clockwise around the M25 today and passing all the bikes forming the ring of red going in the opposite direction. Looked like a really good turn out on a grey drizzly day.

Just as the gun sounded to end the 2 min silence in our town, a bust of sunrays lit up the school playground where i was.

Also saw the first buzzard quatering a field, as i drove home. Ive never seen one this far east, so its a good sign these birds of prey are growing in numbers.

My son getting stressed and worried and stating that we had been burgled.
My wife's response? "That's what your sisters' room always looks like"

Finally a sunny fall day on the weekend yeasterday.
A bit cool by the time I returned home but a lovely day for a ride.

Getting a start date for my next contract. Only two and a half weeks off this time compared to the two and a half months last time which is another smile. And a slightly better day rate AND it's only 9 miles away instead of 40 like the last two contracts. Four smiles in one post - woohoo!
