I just got back from Stafford. Glad to hear it went well, and that is a lot more bikes that I expected to turn up! I will be there on Tuesday to have a natter about it.

It was a good ride, and good to meet those who I hadn't already.

I hope you caught up with the others after Henley TonyK?

Sorry I missed it. I made my best effort to make it, but was outdone by my own numptiness.

Long story short(ish) - noticed that the bike was a bit low on oil this morning, so had to abandon meeting at the Shire to go buy oil instead. Top up done, I set off to try and catch you at the Horse & Jockey. I'd done about 15 miles when I remembered that I'd had the oil filler cap turned just enough to catch on its thread while checking the level... maybe I'd forgotten to tighten it up? I looked down: the black hole blowing oil all over my leg told me I'd definitely forgotten to tighten it . Spend the next hour and a half sunbathing at the side of the road waiting for the missus to bring supplies...

It felt weird nodding at riders when I didn't have a helmet on. I didn't want to wave in case they thought I needed help. I was grinning like an idiot when I recognised KnightRider and realised I was getting a TVSF fly-past

Is baby sick a colour, or was it small and broken? I think I remember seeing a dark red Honda. Of course, having missed the Gixxer, I assumed that was Ogden
