Re: NW Rideouts & accidents
Well I think that was Luckypants point. Nobody can catergorically say that there is a problem with NW's.
It is nice to have a frank discussion, but so far nothing has really been mooted that'll make any great difference. Let people vote with their feet. Either they'll come or not, but the percentage of return weekenders tells you something I reckon. |

Re: NW Rideouts & accidents
So in conclusion all riders must have complete protection including airbags in helmets, have stabilisers and must only ride at 2mph while maintaining a 10 metre gap from the rider in front.
Ok I think I can do that |

See, constructive. Nice though that the groups idea was raised, then immediately shot down in flames as the assumption was about skill. Yet when it's raised about numbers, it's perfectly acceptable. Perhaps i didn`t make myself clear their Baph..... When Mike expressed concern over the number of bikes taking part in NW3 his concern was purely and only that 30 bikes in one group might attract the attention of the police. It had nothing to do with safety issues. The suggestion to split into 2 groups is mine and would only be maybe necessary if we were to have a large number of bikes again and folk were concerned about attracting the police. It would have nothing to do with potentially making the ride safer |
