Second leg of route to the campsite

We can use the A303 as a backup route if we find ourselves falling way behind schedule, but I reckon we should be at the campsite for around 6pm

BTW -> everyone happy with these routes? If not then

Any chance you lazy bunch can meet up a couple of hours earlier, with those who live out West just meeting up at the Apes rather than the Ace.

Would be so much better to be getting there at about 4 than at about 6 - means more pub time

You know that 12pm at the Ace, and a 2pm leave from the Apes would make more sense

Sounds easy but that would mean i have to be up and out the house by 9ish and the whole idea was to have a nice lie in and chilled out no rush ride.
And hey its nto big or clever to get too wasted on the night before the rideout... best save that for the saturday night so no real rush to get to the campsite, right?

Lie in (get up at 9am) -check
Breakfast at rykers (10am) - check
chilled ride- check
lunch stop Stockbridge (near Winchester about 1ish for an hour) - check
arrive at site around 4pm - check.

My schedule works

Nope, I don't think changing the start time is a good idea at this stage......look how long it took us to get here

If you guys at the Apes place want to leave earlier then no worries, we'll meet you down at the campsite.

I'll wait for Si's answer on this though, bearing in mind I've only got PC access for the next couple of hours and have already printed off the route maps for everyone.

i agree with ya. has been fairly confusing as it is, not really ideal to be changing the start time at this late stage is it? i'm perfectly happy to arrive at the campsite at 6ish, leaves pleanty of time to put up me tent n lend a hand where needed before taking a jolly ride to the offy for some booze. then a relaxed evening of beverages and chat, enough to get me ****ed, but not enough to give me a hangover for saturday!!

Work have now cancelled, so I is coming after all!

You lucky lucky people!

Anyone who annoys me tho, be aware that I have a rubber mallet and that the A30 has many deserted spots that would make a good shallow grave!

Love and kisses

S'ok. Keep plans as they are. I'll get David doing something useful until we leave. Like the ironing or summat.
