I agree wholheartedly, was not celebrating. I wanted this to go to the end of the season.

And I don't know how that team is going to function in future - I've not seen someone so ****ed off, ever!

Portuguese comentators were ace today.

"Who'd have put money on Elias today?! Ok, maybe only his father..."

"Someone at Honda should better send Elias a cheque, he just saved the day..."

"Hey look, it's Pedrosa returning to the pitlane in that scooter, it doesn't look like he has a black eye yet..."

"The only way Pedrosa can redeem himself now is to throw his bike at Rossi in Valencia!"

Not fair to really talk specifics yet as many will not have seen the race and so I am not going to comment as to what Stoner OBVIOUSLY did wrong.

Pedrosa's err hum incident was as much to do with HRC's supposed policy of every man for himself as opposed to the more sane Yamaha approach. Pedrosa could obviously see not enough pressure being put on the leader and so tried to force an ill advised move.

Supervox will be saddened to hear that sete has apparently broken bones in his hand and remangled the new plate in his shoulder.

Fooking Bridgestones? Loris might as well have ridden round on the rims for what good his tyres were!

Edwards was really good today.

A contract winner if ever I saw one.

Peter, it seems to me he was more p*ssed with Hayden's forced overtake the lap before. Remember he was shouting abuse at Rossi at Mugello (iirc) because of some "manly" overtakes, none of which came even closer to Hayden's own manoeuvre here at Estoril, so imho he tried to show Hayden he too could play that game. Turns out he didn't.

now THAT was a race.

Seemed to me that Hayden made Pedrosa have it with a fairly aggressive move on him a bit earlier and Pedrosa had a touch of the red mist to give it back to him, which led to it ending in tears for both of 'em.

Oh, and as for not talking about the race, I've said this before, but now there's a dedicated thread for race talk, anyone not wanting to know what happened till they've watched the repeat screening can just avoid this thread, can't they?

Cheers Keith

Edit - didn't see your thread before I wrote that Filipe, but great minds think alike eh?

Eh?

What did Stoner do that was wrong???

Besides practicing starts before the qualifying practice is over?

Or applying for the "King of the LowSide" crown every other race?
But his low side wasn't 'questionable' was it, he low sided and Sete ran over him, racing incident. Nothing 'questionable' about it.

Give the boy 2 years and he'll be winning the championship.
