You do realise that what you're doing with the SV650 logo is a copyright infringement (and breaking the law). Even if whoever reproduced it is making no money from it, the print company who is reproducing it is making profit.

The SV650 logo has copyright restrictions, its not public domain and has to be displayed unaltered within their guidelines.

The alterations you've made here clearly infringe copyright.

In that case I want some free ones

I am joking...

Actually, what is he copying? The org logo is what he is copying, and he has permission

It's not the org logo he is copying - he has basically stuck ".org" to the end of the official SV650 logo.

We have a corporate ID team and I showed it to them before I posted. They are certain that Suzuki would not grant permission to do this and especially not to sell it online. When any kind of money's involved it would require a contractual licensing agreement. In the abscence of such an agreement then it's logo piracy.

They also told me that there are internet bounty hunters who will find it eventually and the guy could get stung for a lot of money. Two examples they gave me were - Weir Honda had their website shut down for copyright infringement a few months ago and a cricket gear company got stung for £4k just last week for selling unauthorised logo stickers from their website.

It's only for the guys protection.
