Watch out there this morning guys. Little old Jack Frost has been out working his magic. My replacement heated gloves came yesterday too. Shame they sent me the wrong ones and will have to go straight back again.

Mr frost was indeed out, but the sun is also pretty strong so hopefully most of the ice will have dissappeared by 9.30. Still we should take it easy in the wooded areas etc.

To be honest I would prefer a light ride anyway, imho if you gun it the whole time then you are just asking for trouble.

It should be fine, just take it easy at the start until you notice the raods are ok. Anyway, I am up and about, so see you soon!

Careful with the ice. Almost lost it on the way to the shire. Am there now but everyone is late...typical.

Still nobody here. I was only going to ride to Oxford and back but if nobody shows in the next 5 minutes then I am off home. I'm on the blackberry in case you are wondering.

Well bah to that!

Whoever came up with the idea of an early start should be shot.

The roads around here are only really becoming rideable now!

We should have had the ride in the afternoon.

Early start in February with a forecast of frost the night before. Not exactly a tricky one to work out.
