because we set off from york to helmsley (the little village with a carpark/village square) and then the road on the other side from helmsley to stokesly is the stokesly tt as far as I've been told

cos most of dont us have a real tt course on there door step you lucky barsteward so we have to make our own up

It is called the Helmsley TT as it makes up a complete circuit and its popular with bikes. If they did do a race on it, it would be a cracker as there are some really technical sections but up on "the mountain" there are really fast sweepers.

The course itself starting from Stokesley, heads over to Helmsley then heads towards Pickering before turning off at Hutton le Hole and heading towards Castleton. From there its back through Great Ayton and back to Stokesley.

The technical stuff is definitely between Helmsley and Stokesley while the faster section is up from Castleton to Hutton Le Hole. Just watch out for the Kamikaze sheep up there.

Been up on "The Mountain" you've only done no more than 10 miles of the course, the other 27 are not fast sweeping bends and there are several tight ones up there aswell tbh.

Balacraine to Ramsey is just amazing, certinaly my favourite section to ride as someone who rides the course most nights of the week and is extremly difficult to learn theres hundreds of unamed bends around the course and to remember each one in order is very difficult, if you ask me going through that section is technical enough, i think those roads we were on were very nice if you know them certinaly that is :P.

However we do share one commen problem, sheeps and cows running out at you... one of my fellow friends got hit by a loose cow about 3 weeks ago and then also the other day coming down to the Creg a sheep had jumped the fence new set of underwear time when that happens.

Anyway im off out right now with my mate just gonna put a couple of laps in teheheheheeheheheheh :P
