We really don't need more stuff than you can carry on a bike. There are shops in that part of the world so I've heard (although them folk tend to be a bit cousin lovin if you get my drift) so if we are desperate for a BBQ etc then we can buy one. Tarp is a good idea - even with no trees you can tie it between tents to make a sitting area.

SARAH - come on, surely you have a tank bag that can fit a cake in

I've got a huge tarp I can bring, with eyelets in it and everything!

We do seem to be a bit pessimistic about the weather though, I'm bringing suntan lotion and sunglasses! And the tarp.

Decathlon do some good tarps which are fairly small when folded. They come with two polss and string too.

Haha nice one! Tarp as a back up, I will deal with the fire (usually just burn whatever is around! I can even make a BBQ if someone can bring just a grill. Cooking meat ain't complicated you know!

I'm afraid I will have to abstain from this one. As nice as it was to drink everybody else's booze and leave within 14 hours of arrival in the rain I will be attending my old man's Birthday dinner.

just to let you all know that because i work at the front desk for sainsbury's i can get certain perks.

the one that im sure you'd all be interested in is 30 to 40 loose cans in a crate for around 6 quid. just let me know what to fill it with and how many crates you'd need so i can put an order through.
