Bar conversion with pics

Some more shiny bits arrived today from a dear friend of mine, custom made wheel spacers for the back wheel and they look lovely. It is just a shame that you can barely see them once fitted.

The metal used is high grade stainless steel and he has mirror polished them so they gleam. When compared with these, the originals look pretty grotty.

You must mean the bike because I am a fat heifer and do not feel good about it. Anyone got a Dyson for some liposuction?

Awwww, you don't suck, you are lovely.

I knew a girl (as in went out with, but who cheated on me almost constantly!) who sucked , she could suck concrete out of a bottle she sucked so much. Strangely she was very popular among the boys...

I stripped off the nose cone and electrics today to rust proof the front sub frame which had started to show the signs of corrosion.

I also aim to sort out the wiring that goes to my funky indicators and put spacers in behind my flush mount side flashers to make them slightly less flush! I know how to spend a weekend me...

Mine is now in the best place for it, the bin. The pin on the feed wire started to give intermittent problems and then it completely failed. When I checked it, it was burned and blackened. So off it came and in went this little lot.

The original has 2.8mm plates, which is why they are so problematic. They are just too small for such an important connector. The ones I have just fitted are 6.3mm plates and are a lot tougher.

I am now starting the strip down for the addition of some new parts, but sadly this is going to take a while due to my own poor health. The good thing about working on the bike though is I can just plug into my MP3 player, listen to some vicious Black Metal and ignore the rest of the world.

Slowly though, my motorbike is moving into our spare bedroom. By the end of the year, I fully expect to be able to climb into the spare bed and snuggle up next to the shiny precious that is my Sylvie the SV.
