Very glad to see you posting again Rictus, reading through that post did stir up some feelings of my incident. Hope to see you soon Rictus and some good advice about bike gear, buy the best you can.

I remember them trying to figure out how to remove my jacket, due to the one lung being somewhat damaged I couldnt explain and just got up and removed it rather than cut it off

Blimey Mark - sounds like you are lucky to be still with us !

Can go via your way on way to Lyden tomorrow if you want, can bring you some bike racing dvds / books ...let me know...

Also got a great article about a shattered knee accident(same kinda injury- differnt tyep of crash ) by editor of TRD on 2onT ..(in Features i think)

wierdly recently started a series called "for our friends with thier feet up", for people with a few months to kill, let me know what you think...
