I popped down to Ellesmere yesterday, an excuse to ride the bike and play with the camera. I dropped into the Shropshire Sailing club as boats and water are generally photogenic.

I wholeheartedly agree with that john, in these current (and hopefully soon to end) times of my having no bike and no licence, it is this thread that keeps me coming back to this site and keeping touch. even though I may post very little I do really enjoy coming here every day and seeing the pictures that get put up. I would put pictures up, but I am such an idiot when it comes to uploading stuff I struggle, plus I hardly ever take pictures really......

Walked 4 miles today and it was gorgeous weather. Went into an orchard and grabbed a few apples to make a crumble too.

I will also echo the enjoyment factor comments. So many great shots in this thread from so many of you.

I took several hundred shots over the last two days in London on my Open House tours. I will get round to uploading many of them over the next few days (keep an eye on my Flikr account) but one I had to get in here today. I was really lucky to get a ticket in the ballot for the BT Tower and even more lucky to have super weather. Yet more lucky still to have an aerial view while up there of the commemorative Battle f Britain flypast of four Spitfires and two Hurricanes. Shot through the glass of the observation deck I had the short lens on when someone called out "look at the planes" but by the time they came back I had the long lens on. So, so lucky!
