Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Four and a half hours on the bike today, an hour taking the front off the car and cleaning out connectors, moved a resistor up a sensor a bit in the hope it'll help the car a bit.. Need a wiring diagram really but haven't come across one for free yet. After bike ride I washed the car for the first time, after 6 months and almost 6,000 miles.
Saw some prat very nearly dump his MT-01 pulling out of Yamaha/Triumph at Eye. It was monstrously loud, very nice looking bike though. Saw a Daytona 600 in red (Speedplay?) going south towards Ramsey. Took a detour through Sawtry and had a nice bimble through the countryside out to Hamerton then to Winwick. Then got onto my favourite stretch of road from Sandy to Cambridge. Wheeeee! |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Hah! I was in Ramsey today (on way to huntingdon) and Hamerton and Winwick (about 1ish coming back), and Sawtry.....cos i live here!
I hate coming out of Webbs at Eye, with all those bikers watching, one day i'm gonna do something REALLY stupid. I hate getting parked up there too cos it can be so busy! |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I don't mind coming out of Webbs at Eye, but although you don't want to drop your bike anywhere, in front of a load of bikers would be a particularly embarrassing place to do it!
Talking of embarrassing, there was a chap there on a big old cruiser type thing, dressed up as a knight. Strange. I thought he looked more like a metal armadillo. Had horns on his constume and bike and lid as well. I did keep an eye out going through Sawtry but have no idea where Kelly lives It better not ****ing rain, now that I've cleaned the car. |

I decided that i wasn't going to risk blowing my hoover up by vacuuming the car out so tomorrow its going to the car cleaning dudes at Homebase for them to do the inside and the outside. I need to look after it now, it has to last another couple of years having just had £500 spent on it!! |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I don't really know why I bothered really, as I'm driving up to Liverpool on thursday evening, and back again on friday with a car full of Izi's crap I mean possessions.
It's somewhat annoying that ragging the tits off the SV I get 50+ mpg all the time. Driving the car I only get 42-48 mpg Ideally, I'd earn enough that I wouldn't give a toss what mpg I got.. |
