Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My 10 year old leathers fit me perfectly again, I tried em on last night... It's not a strain to get into them. Ya dancer.
I also weighed myself yesterday and since I started this cycling lark in September I've lost 9lbs (not much, but I was hardly porky to start off with) I am a happy boy, next big step, stopping the vaping...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The sun shining through the skylight in the extension. Might not seem much, but up until now the winter shadows and low sun angle have meant the sunshine didn't get to the skylight. As the spring springs into summer our new extension will be a lovely room.

Bike insurance renewal, once again they've sent me a renewal quote cheaper than the previous year and cheaper than anyone else on the market with more extras, 2 mins to activate the renewal over the phone, job done.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
yup mines goes down every year as well. last renewal was £114 FC with no security devices. Bikesure, they also know my bike is modified and i have had a claim with them as well for the last bike which was stolen. every year they send me a letter stating when they will take the payment and then once payment is made they send me out my docs. could i get it cheeper.. yes, but i dont care for the hassle.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Mine came in but I haven't checked against last year. I'll be removing the SV from the policy this year I expect.
I'm happy because a simple reset on the thermostat switch got my heating working again. I reckon Stu laying his cold sweater on the top of it for 10 minutes the other morning tripped it but because it's a storage heater you can't tell until the next day.

Registered intent to marry today.
(Again.. did it a couple of years ago but our wedding evaporated when we got done over moving, selling our house to an evil buyer.. who fleeced us at last minute and took all our wedding funds and lots more by dropping her offer by £9,000 the day before exchange) |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I now have a fully rebuilt, fully serviced and Mot'd VRaptor 1000, back at home after being at motorcycle hospital since Xmas. It's taken almost 18 months of sourcing parts, two radiator donors, and the aid of a very old friend and talented motorcycle mechanic to painstakingly get her roadworthy.
DB IS A VERY HAPPY BUNNY!! I even got some rather tasty v-trec levers for her yesterday too. Just got to sit patiently for the weather to change for the better now
