One from Sunday.

Went to the De Havilland Aircraft Museum a few miles south of Hatfield. I used to work on the site of the DH factory in Hatfield (now a business park) and saw the signs for this museum on my way home each day. Like many private museums it is small but it packs in a LOT of very interesting things and has three Moquitoes in it's collection as well as older machines, commercial airliners, jets and displays. Well worth a visit.

The fighter variants of the Mosquito were normally equipped with 4 machine guns and four cannon but some were fitted with a 57mm Molins cannon for anti-ship sorties instead of the 20mm cannons. Seen on the bench beside a Mosquito F it is quite a brute!

It was a fad that started a few years ago. If done well, it tastes OK, but it's an "aqquired " taste. I think its awful stuff and I've recently bought an expensive espresso machine, so needless to say, I LIKE coffee.

Try it once, you might like it. Like Bovril, it's love or hate.
