Vintage film cameras

When I get my thumb out I'm going to talk to some companies that can do metal printing. I have the broken blades from the Konica, need to measure them up and have a convo with someone. I don't think plastic could be made thin enough to be interchangeable.

Kenzie, the little Olympus fits nicely into the pocket of my leather jacket. I took a few pics while waiting for the breakdown man this afternoon.

I know what you mean, they are great little cameras but the shutter button takes some getting used to. I would love an XA rangefinder but they are really hard to get at a good price. Off to Las Vegas at the end of September for a week but I am debating whether or not to take a film camera. I am concerned about the film and X-ray machines. I could always buy film over there and have the developed. Bought this 331903065998 and hoping that it is the same issue as the Nettar.

Yeah. I now know what you mean about the shutter. I haven't got the hang of opening it yet either but it is really handy and easy to carry.
Go on, take a little camera over to the States. As you say, you can buy film and have it developed over there. I'm not sure about taking film to China either and whether it would survive today's airport security systems.

Kodak say the low dose of a single carry on scan should be ok but hold or checked luggage would get fogged. Need to do more read in on it. Tbh it's something else to carry and I may just used my TZ35.
Fired off a roll of Ektar yesterday at a family bbq, had some issues with the film counter. Not sure whether to feed a roll of HP5 to the Certo or the Nettar.

I would try £40. Says open to offers
The Nettar has a double exposure lock. You can set the shutter but it won't fire unless wound on. On the flip side, if you wind it on like a 35mm and don't set the shutter it won't fire. Both cases cause inexperienced people to think the camera is jammed and of no use. Hate to think how many have been thrown away because of this. Good for us as we get them for a good price.
