Myself and G were out and about in the Peaks today also. It was nice and warm to begin with, but ended up in nasty rain. But not one to dwell on the bad things i decided to practice my wet weather riding. Man, the Pilot Powers don't half like the rain.

Where about did you go, road wise Dave???

all over castleton, carsington water, up to look at the bunk house for this ride, stoney middleton, baslow, hathersage, owler bar, backroads past bakewell, monsal head . Went on some really nice little lanes. There were a few spots that would be really good to incorporate into the peaks ride monsal head and carsington water would be good and not too far out of the way.

Yep, i originally went over to G's to work on my bike as i have crap all tools. But ended up going out in the afternoon. Was fun. Sparkies changed, chain cleaned and lubed and many other problems solved/unearthed. Also have new oil/filter and a K&N air filter. Sorted the knackered clutch too but still only have one bulb working on my low beam brake light, if that makes sense. (Pete won't be happy)
