Re: The venue.
Seriously if there are more bikes than garage will hold then will convince the parents to sod off for the night and put 2 in the kitchen.

Re: The venue.
We'll be there - will either get MrsMatt to drive up with tent, chairs, gazebo etc and I'll ride up, or we will trailer the bike again.
Yes I know it is cheating

Re: The venue.
Given the gentler nature of the ride out I may buy a "classic" bike to come on over for this. Watch this space....

I've had an. Have all the bikes at my gaff and they guys sleep at yours. You've got more floor space than me, but I've got more flat paved space front n back for 12 or more. If I can get a Harley 1340 dyno round the back, I'm sure I can get some more SVs round there just an idea of course

Re: The venue.
Right, now the venue is posted...
Google maps reckons 5h19, down the motorways. Boring & I don't want square tyres. A little dragging & dropping of the route to avoid the A55, M56, M6 (mostly), M1 (mostly) and M25... I'm at 6h 19. A few more tweeks and I'm at 6h 21. 281miles. Easily do-able, and I can cover probably 80% of the route without looking at a map. EDIT: Or there's a nice looking marina just south of the place the AR is being held. Wonder if I can talk my mate into bringing his boat with me. Though getting the bike off at the other end may be a bit of a challenge. Would I win a prize for the best way to get to the AR? Last edited by Baph; 05-12-08 at 09:17 PM. |
