It's not in case I get lost!! It's not a sat nav device anyway. I'm more interested in precise distance, elevation, pace, heart rate, am I running efficiently, that sort of info.

Yes, it's a bit of a toy. But it is interesting. I found two major uses for it : Running an unplanned route and Learning to hold a consistent pace.
I'm not interested in heart rate zone training, but I imagine it works fine for that.

Having said that, I only bought it when the price jumped down from £170 to £135.

Nice pic - morning running is ok if you've had time to wake up properly etc. but getting up and going straight it is awful, for me anyway.
