I'm a bit of a novice for group riding so hope that okay?

Thats absolutely fine, dont worry, it'll be fairly sensible and no-one expects you to ride beyond your comfort zone. Im' riding well below mine at the moment - hoping tomorrow will get me back 'in the zone' again!!

We'll make sure everyone is clear about the marking system and such before we head off, and it usually works a treat. Be nice to see you

Bike oiled and ready to go, it's still filthy from last nights ride in the rain but who cares...it's not like I'm gonna be posing with it at Hunny all day long in the £1 car park, I want to ride the bl00dy thing!

I am just waiting for a silicon based bodge-a-job I've done with my tax disc holder to set! Looked at it after half hour ago and noticed the outer rubber ring was almost broken, not good if you want to keep the paper attached to the bike...so I've super-glued it together again and sealed it shut with silicon Should mean the tax disc stays dry whatever the weather too....

Can anyone recommend a properly water tight tax disc holder? Are those cylinder ones any good?

See you all at 10ish at the cafe, I might hold out on breakfast until I get there

And at least one U turn, it wouldn't be an EAR rideout without one

I used them almost exclusively for 3 years and many thousands of miles in all weathers on various bikes - including being a marker for AR07 (hooning from the back to the front all the time!) in the biggest monsoon North Yorkshire could throw at us - never once did they let me down - great tyres

I wont hear a bad word said against them!
