Not heard anything from Rocky Cameras about my order. Have pinged them an email.

From what I read on various threads at the weekend, phoning is more likely to get a response.

Will give it a go but also like a paper trail.

It's a shame he's so far away, there's a nice-looking Mamiya Six but I just don't believe the "optically perfect" on all adverts. That and all the other bad reviews of course.

Hey Yoko, can see why you have a soft spot for Minoltas. My XG-M arrived today, what a great camera. Needs a clean and the light seals are nonexistent but its light, has a judas window and full auto as well.

Excellent. Glad you like it. I think the viewfinders are big and bright too.
I sent your goodie box off this afternoon. Hopefully, it'll arrive tomorrow

Discovered what's ailing the K1000 ~ as suspected. I need to invest in a soldering iron although it's a long time since I did that.
I found a loose black washer (final pic) loose in the assembly on the opposite side to the battery box. Any idea where it goes?

That looks like it fits around the tripod mount. Will pop the bottom off mine and let you know later.

Thanks. It can fit in several places; film release button, round a couple of screwheads...

By the way, is it worth lubricating/very lightly greasing anything while I'm in there or better to just leave it be?
