I have the whole weekend off (a rarity of late) and I get to play in the last hockey match of the season

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
unfortunately not, although I have played a couple of games in the national mixed cup this year, which has been great fun.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Gripe: car has been in the garage for nearly 2 weeks while my mechanic friend Sean tried to find out what was causing it to intermittently misfire. It felt like an ignition or fuel problem but a new fuel pump, new coil, pipes blown through with no result. It was beginning to look like a deep engine fault and a write off as it is 18 years old.
Smile: Sean rang today. They removed the front engine cover to look at the cam belt and the cause was then obvious. The cam belt tensioner had failed and the cam belt had slipped and shed 2 teeth. New cam belt and tensioner and she is running sweet. The bill will be big, but cheaper than having to buy a replacement. Good examples of the classic Impreza Turbo are rare and don't come cheap.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
A day outside in the sun. Working in the park, clearing the garden, trips to the tip with the rubbish, house tidy.
Beer in the garden in the warm sun. Chicken schnitzel for tea. A lovely spring day. Pete

Two days off now then on Friday I'm photographing food all day before a party in the evening. The only downside is the party is a leaving do for our best bit of boy totty at work. All the girls are in mourning.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I have two smiles for today, one daft the other is a heartfelt thanks to a member on this forum who has been amazing in the help he has given me in the last few months.
Daft - I managed to get to 52.3mph today... Oh my pushbike. I'm faster than most Harley riders. Heartfelt - Richard (Maviczap) thank you for all the advice you have given me since the end of last year. You have been completely invaluable.... THANK YOU!

Yum.
Oh sure, I know it smells like a rotting corpse but it tastes delicious.
