that'll be the light bending energy shield then, I see, or rather I and they didn't

I'd point out it helps to actually meet

Cheers Mark.
Was discussing this with Bigape, seem to agree that a fortnightly meet at a pub or something similar for drinks, chat etc would be a good idea. Then use either sat or sun for ride-outs.

Still need to decide upon a suitable meeting place though.

Bigape- yeah the pace was fine. Don't need to go million miles per hour all the time!

*sigh* you know what was missing? The Oxford lot, we would have whipped you all into shape! . Let me know when the next meet is! I'd like a pub meet midweek so long as it isn't Thursday. Henley have any nice pubs?

I'd be up for a pub meet at somepoint. The ride last night was good fun but think I need to get a bit more experience before venturing out with you whippa snappers again! My cornering ability really does suck so need to work on that.

Jon

PS - you may have noticed that my pace died quite considerably toward the end...what you didnt see was me sh**ing bricks as I locked my rear on one of the tight corners !

Dude, always ride to your own speed, never play the keep up game. If the person that you are following is worth his salt, he will wait at junctions to let you know a change in direction.

Not being funny but I'm not ever going to ride at anybodies else's speed unless it is slower than mine, my life is worth more than that . The rear lock up was completely my fault cause I misjudged a corner.

I wasn't trying to keep up as you guys were great at waiting at junctions etc. Its just one of those things, you get a fright so you slow down.

I hit a patch of gravel mid corner, with the bike lent over. Pretty damn scary, slowed me down a bit after that.

Yay, pub meet. maybe I'll make in on the third attempt. Henly has a few nice pubs, or there are plenty just north of reading. Don't know the rest of the area so well. we know a good un in oxford if you fancy venturing "up north". not so central for you guys though.

Pub meet, mid week in the Thames Valley Area. Just fine. Let me know where.
